Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician (m/f/d) - 100% Remote
Your daily tasks:
- Continuously monitor network performance during the migration process.
- Use network management tools to identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
- Act quickly to network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Coordinate with the migration team to resolve issues and restore services.
- Keep stakeholders informed about network status and any issues during migration.
- Document incidents and actions taken for resolution.
- Assist in the implementation of network changes and upgrades as part of the migration plan.
- Ensure network infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards during the migration.
- Work closely with the migration team to support network-related aspects of the migration.
- Provide technical support to team members and other departments as needed.
- Adhere to network policies, procedures, and best practices during migration.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
- Contribute to the improvement of network monitoring and management processes.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies and trends.
What we are looking for:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture, with a focus on migration projects.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
