We are currently building our team and now searching for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Linux configurations, DNS management, and a proven track record in deploying and maintaining microservices. DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - 100% Remote

Your daily tasks:

  • Deploy, manage, and maintain microservices within a dynamic and scalable environment.
  • Apply and enforce security best practices, demonstrating a strong understanding of security concepts.
  • Configure and manage load balancers to ensure optimal distribution of network traffic.
  • Utilize Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
  • Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
  • Configuring and maintaining build automation tools.
  • Writing infrastructure code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
  • Using tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to automate configuration management tasks across servers and environments.
  • Building, maintaining, and orchestrating Docker containers for application deployment Docker tools.
  • Managing cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Provisioning and configuring cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Implementing monitoring solutions to track system performance and application health.
  • Setting up logging mechanisms to gather and analyze application logs for troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes.
  • Automating security testing and vulnerability assessments using tools.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining web servers, preferably Apache or Nginx.
  • Solid understanding of Linux configurations, with a focus on Ubuntu or CentOS.
  • Certifications in DevOps or related fields will be considered a plus.
  • Proficient in DNS management to ensure seamless and reliable network operations.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Familiarity with Cloud Formation, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Ansible is essential.
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery pipelines.
  • Excellent English Communication Skills
