GRI Sustainability Reporting Expert (m/f/d) - 100% Remote

Your daily tasks:

  • Expertise in GRI Standards: Profound understanding of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, essential for writing comprehensive sustainability reports.
  • CDP Reporting Skills: Proficiency in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting framework, with a focus on effectively writing about climate change, water, and forest-related disclosures.
  • ESG Standards Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, crucial for integrating ESG insights into report writing.
  • Report Writing and Communication: Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging sustainability reports that comply with GRI, CDP, and ESG standards.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to weave sustainability reporting into the broader business strategy, using GRI, CDP, and ESG frameworks as guiding principles.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing the report writing process, from data collection to final submission, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Risk and Impact Analysis: Understanding of how to analyze and articulate sustainability risks and impacts in reports, guided by GRI, CDP, and ESG standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools and software that aid in report writing and data analysis for sustainability reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to understand and address stakeholder concerns and expectations within sustainability reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of international and local sustainability regulations and their implications for report writing according to GRI, CDP, and ESG standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a focus on Environment engineering / Finance or similar.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience, ideally with the preparation of sustainability reports preferably in align with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • Certifications and Education: Relevant certifications in GRI, CDP, and ESG reporting.
  • Strong interest in existing and new/developing ESG standards, metrics and concepts.
  • Excellent English Language skills
  • Tech Savvy (familiar with working tools such as CRM Software, Project Management Tools, MS Office Suite.
