As the world becomes increasingly aware of the impact of consumption on the environment, it is essential for consumers to make informed decisions that promote sustainability. From the rise of sustainable products to the growth of conscious consumerism, various trends and drivers are shaping this important shift.

To address this topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Americas Alliance organised a webinar on March 15, 2023. The topic under discussion was, “Consumer Behaviour in a Sustainable Future”.

The webinar started off with a brief overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by our moderator, Mr. Jacopo Frattini who is the coordinator of the Americas Alliance.

The panelists for today’s webinar were Mr. Aldar Nyamlkhagva, Project Coordinator at the World Bank, Ms. Lana Babii, Neuromarketing Consultant and Founder of NeuroLa, and Dr. Praveen Pankajakshan, PhD, Vice President, Data Science & Al at Cropin.

During the webinar, the speakers emphasized the significance of consumer behavior in shaping a sustainable future. They highlighted the significant changes in consumers’ purchasing habits, where they now prioritize the environment, quality of life, and future generations when making buying decisions.

Furthermore, they discussed how individuals are reducing their consumption of natural resources, adopting sustainable lifestyles, and opting for eco-friendly products to satisfy current needs while considering the well-being of future generations.
