10 March – EU Tech Chamber Climate Action Commission – Topic: Scientific facts and political framework – current status on dealing with climate change

The Corona pandemic is still utilizing all our forces and covering news channels with updates on status and planned strategies. Worldwide climate change with global warming already at approximately 1,2°C clearly has not sufficient focus from all of us these day – be it from politicians, organizations and all of us. The potential for disaster for all being on earth is by far bigger comparted to the current corona pandemic. Science make us aware of this since decades – what are current updates, perspectives and recommendations from science? Politics tend to make promises (as e.g. in Paris 2015), but widely fail to act upon – what are current political necessities and how do they compare to actual planning?

Join our upcoming Climate Action Commission Digital Panel on Wednesday, March 10th, at 9:00 am CET on “Scientific facts and political framework – current status on dealing with climate change”. We have invited Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Froitzheim and Evelyn Bodenmeier from the NGO GermanZero to join our discussion and share their valuable insights as to how to navigate through these challenges with adequate action and speed.  Our Chairman Florian von Tucher will be there to introduce our Chamber and Climate Action Board Member Anna Huber will be the moderator. See you all on March 10th in the event.
