Within our today’s German Chapter Digital Panel on the topic “The Status Quo of Germany in the Energy Transition” we discussed with invited experts how Germany can lead through the Energy Transition successfully and outlined that it is crucial to reach Climate Protection through a mix of green electricity, solar thermal energy, waste heat etc. to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement 2050.

We were honored to welcome Kai Zimmermann, President of Zenaga Foundation gGmbH, as a Key-Note Speaker who lead us through the activities of the NGO aiming to increase the climate action dialog between Germany and Stakeholders from around the world. Thanks also to our Panelists Dr. Elisabeth Dütschke, Coordinator of the Business Unit Actors and Social Acceptance in the Transformation of the Energy System at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, to Gunther Gamst, Founder of Vivaero, and Axel Horn, founder of the engineering company Solar Energy information.

Thank you to our Board Member German Chapter Dr. Kim Burzan for your introduction and also to Nadine Böhnke, Director German Chapter, for guiding through the webinar.
