The EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Africa Alliance webinar on “Connecting Africa through an Inclusive Network” started off with a short overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by our moderator, Ms. Svetlana Nyameyo who is the coordinator of the Africa Alliance.

The three experienced panelists for today’s webinar were:
·        Ms. AILEEN Meena Head of Marketing & Enablement at Vodacom Tanzania Plc,
·        Dr. Beatrice Bischof, Managing Director at Starclimber,
·        Ms. Megan Kathure, Regional Co-lead at Afronomicslaw.

While addressing the webinar, the speakers discussed the necessity of connecting Africa with other parts of the world. They also discussed the importance of sustainability and methods to simplify the process to make it more effective.

Moreover, the panelists emphasized on educating people and raising awareness on the importance of data collection with the use of technology especially in the agriculture sector. Lastly, they discussed the huge potential for growth and opportunities in African region.
