Digital Transformation Alliance – Digital Skills for the Future: Empowering Workforce Resilience.

In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, acquiring and honing digital skills has become more crucial than ever before. From understanding the latest tech trends to navigating the challenges posed by automation and cybersecurity, it is important to establish a comprehensive roadmap for individuals and organizations seeking to fortify their digital capabilities.

To take a closer look at this theme, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Digital Transformation Alliance organised a webinar on September 21, 2023 on the topic, “Digital Skills for the Future: Empowering Workforce Resilience”.
The webinar started off with a formal introduction of the panelists and the topic by Mr. Salman Tariq, the coordinator of the Digital Transformation Alliance.

The panellists for the day were:
·        Ms. Nadine Soyez, Management Consultant, Trainer & Business Coach
·        Mr. Andrew Pope, Partner, Digital Skills & Collaboration Consultant
The speakers spoke on a range of topics, highlighting ways to implement a healthy and productive digital workspace. These included factors such as employee preferences, transparency and avoiding too much stress.

Furthermore, the importance of innovation was discussed when it came to things such as being open to new SOPs. An environment should be created that focuses on value creation and involvement of all stakeholders – most notably the employees. It all starts with the right mindset and perspectives.
Furthermore, common topics of debate were discussed, such as the elusive “online meetings” – of which some people say takes up too much time in ones work day, and is often a large waste of time. Four-day work-trails were also touched upon as a new way of improving employee experience, while increasing productivity in less time. Overarchingly, the hybrid workplace has actually tended to blur the lines of availability and expectations.

A few questions were posed at the end of the session, as well as a short summary made, which proved to be a fruitful discussion and comprehensive capturing of the webinar.

For today, we want to thank our respectable speakers for their informed insights on this much-needed topic. Moreover, special thanks to Mr. Salman Tariq for moderating the webinar and distributing Tree-Certificates to the panelists.

Above all, sincere thanks to all our attendees – your comments, compliments, and questions. Stay tuned for our next Digital Transformation Alliance webinar!
