Technology trends in e-commerce have paved the way for businesses to conduct themselves on the digital platform. With many businesses opting to use an e-commerce platform to boost their business, it is only set to grow in times to come.

To address this issue, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Finance Alliance organised a webinar on October 26, 2022. The topic under discussion was, “Technology Trends in E-Commerce”.

The webinar was moderated by Ms. Joyce Mariel, coordinator of Finance Alliance, who gave a formal introduction of the panelists. The event was co-moderated by Mr. Salvatore Cavallaro, coordinator of Latin America and Environment Alliance, who also gave a brief overview of the organization.

The first of the three worthy panelists were Mr. Olinga Taeed from Chinese Ministry of Commerce ‘China E-Commerce Blockchain Committee’. Then, we had Ms. Monica Nguyen, Customer Relationship Management Lead at AIMS Group, and last but not the least, we had Mr. Fredrik Agerhem from XLIT Finance and Logistics in Sweden.

While addressing the webinar, the speakers expressed their valuable views regarding the future of digital payments and the role of technology within the e-commerce industry. They highlighted the importance of technology for generating a successful e-commerce platform/business that is beneficial for buyers and sellers.

Moreover, they shared insights regarding supply chain integration and supply chain finance through technology. The panelists also discussed the transition of technology trends in e-commerce sector before and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
