EU Tech Chamber IoT Alliance held one more enlightening webinar on Jan 20, 2023. The topic of this digital talk was, “Smart Production with IoT: My colleague the cobot”

Joyce Mariel – IoT Alliance Coordinator, was the moderator of this webinar. She welcomed the distinguished speakers: Manuel Schweiger – Robotics Expert at Smartinspection, Volker Kunze – Board Member Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance, Birger Bartuska – Digitalisation Expert Wood K Plus Kompetenzzentrum and Ulf Seijmer – Board Member IoT Alliance

All the panelists shared their valuable insights on this topic and answered many interesting questions asked by the moderator and attendees of this webinar.

Our keynote speaker, Manuel Schweiger came up with an interesting presentation that explained how the robot perceives its environment and discussed how they can implement autonomous robot inspections in their company.

Indulging in the discussion, the other speakers also shed light on the topic and presented many exciting examples of smart production with IoT from their respective fields.
They discussed that cobots work alongside humans and are designed to be safe and easy to use.

Promoted by The EU Tech Chamber and the IoT Alliance, this Digital Talk intended to show the current possibilities and give an outlook on what will be possible in the future with the help of IoT.
