Human Costs of Disasters

According to a new UN report, climate-related disasters have increased dramatically over the last 20 years. From 2000 to 2019, more than 7,300 major disaster events were recorded, claiming 1.23 million lives and affecting 4.2 billion people.

For too often, we take what the natural world provides for granted and we willingly and knowingly continue to sow the seeds of our own destruction, despite the science and evidence that we are turning our only home into an uninhabitable hell for millions of people.

Climate Action is required from every individual, institution, business entity, organization, country and region. Let us be the change we want to see in the world.
