To address this topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Americas Alliance organised a webinar on February 08, 2023. The topic under discussion was, ” Healthcare – A Fast Growing Market “.

The webinar started off with a brief overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by our moderator, Mr. Salvatore Cavallaro who is the coordinator of the Americas Alliance.
The panelists for today’s webinar were Dr Jan Frank Lio Carrillo, CEO and Executive Director at Sygnal, Ms. Carolina M. Ahlstrand, Head of International Business Development at Raisoft, and Ms. Patricia Monthé (She/Her), CEO of MEDx eHealthCenter B.V.

While addressing the webinar, the speakers discussed the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector especially for diagnosis of medical problems. They also talked about the necessity of technology-based digital health infrastructure in hospitals.

Moreover, they explained how technology has improved medical procedures in terms of medicine and research and encourages healthcare personnel to actively participate in shared decision-making.

It is pertinent to mention that the healthtech market is growing rapidly, which creates opportunities, risks, and structural questions for companies in the sector and those in the broader healthcare value chain.
