With over 150 registered attendees, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Climate Alliance held a successful Digital Panel on the topic “How can we finance the green transformation?” on 8th June, at 9 AM CEST.
Hosted by Marcin Kiełt, EUTECH´s Climate Action Alliance Director, the webinar kick-started with an articulate presentation about the core of EUTECH’s mission by María Alejandra Pulido.

Talking about ways to finance the green transformation Simon Lutzenberger, Head of Sustainable Finance Solutions Switzerland at CHG-MERIDIAN, stated, “Whenever you are trying to build a business case for financing the green transformation think about the economic side of the things – what is it that you would like to achieve?”

While keynote speaker, Robin McIntyre, European Incentives Director at Corporate Tax Incentives, revealed some excellent programmes present within Europe to assist and finance green transformation, such as R &D Cash Grants, Sustainability Cash Grants and Sustainability Incentives for Energy-Efficient Improvements and De-carbonization.

Lastly, our panelists Ian Robertson, Executive Director at Invigors EMEA and Jerome Taraska, Senior Account Manager, Capital Markets Engagement at CDP, contributed actively to the discussion and discussed how transparency is an essential part of financing the green transformation.

Filled with thought-provoking discussions, many comments and questions, and different points of view, the webinar unleashed a lot of information on how we can finance the green transformation.
