To take a deep dive on how AI-driven innovations are poised to disrupt the financial landscape, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Finance Alliance organised a webinar on September 27, 2023. The topic, “AI-Powered Green Investment and Financing”.

The webinar kicked off with a short overview of the organisation and a formal introduction of the panellists by Mr. Mohsin Raza, coordinator of the Finance Alliance.

The webinar aimed to create an understanding of the dynamic synergy between finance and Artificial Intelligence, uncovering the transformative potential of AI in sustainable finance. It was also examined how AI’s role in green bonds, climatetech, and the future of ethical finance would develop, all the while creating investment opportunities in line with global environmental goals.

Overall, the lineup made for diverse perspectives. Mr. Markus Vogl, (a Quantitative Modelling and Data Science Expert) discussed his soon-to-be-published paper, the Quantitative Modelling of Green Bonds, Ms. Ylva Lundkvist Fridh, (VD/CEO at Mikrofonden Sverige) explored micro-finance models for sustainability while providing real-world examples from Sweden, and Mr. Adetoyese Adedokun, (founder Complia & MD Maycode) delved into use case scenarios demonstrating how AI is making significant impacts in financial applications and helping institutions to be compliant.
