Finance Alliance – How Fintech & AI are Revolutionising Finance Transactions

The integration of Fintech and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way financial transactions are conducted, improving efficiency, security, and customer experience. Fintech startups are leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to disrupt traditional financial institutions and offer innovative solutions to consumers.

To address this topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Finance Alliance organised a webinar on April 26, 2023. The topic under discussion was, “How Fintech & AI are Revolutionizing Finance Transactions?”

The webinar started off with a short overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by Mr. Frederik Simon Pierre Tchoungui who is the coordinator of the Finance Alliance.

The first of the three panelists for today’s webinar were Mr. Gregor Boltar, Broker and Fund Manager. Next, we had Mr. SAMER ALLAF, MBA, Chief Financial Officer at Kingdom Hospital & Consulting Clinics, and Mr. Paweł Nawrot, Business Analyst at Sollers Consulting.

During the webinar, the speakers focused on the different natures of the internet, namely centralized, decentralized, and distributed. In addition to discussing the nature of the internet, the speakers emphasized the significance of blockchain technology and the role of Fintech startups in the financial industry.

Furthermore, the speakers highlighted how blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize various industries, including finance, by providing more efficient and secure transaction processing. Regarding Fintech startups, the speakers emphasized how these startups are leveraging technology to offer innovative solutions that challenge traditional financial institutions.

During the webinar, the speakers discussed the challenges faced by the financial industry in implementing blockchain applications. Some of the major challenges include regulatory ambiguity, interoperability conflicts, security worries, capacity constraints, and a sluggish adoption process.

We want to thank our respectable speakers for their informed insights on this much-needed topic. Moreover, special thanks to Mr. Frederik Simon Pierre Tchoungui for moderating the webinar and distributing Tree-Certificates to the panelists.

Above all, sincere thanks to all our attendees – your comments, compliments, and questions. Stay tuned for our next Finance Alliance webinar on May 24, 2023, about “The Impact of Fintech on Traditional Financial Institutions”.
