ESG Reporting is becoming increasingly important in the manufacturing industry. According to a study by McKinsey in 2020, companies that prioritize sustainability and ESG issues outperform their peers in terms of financial performance.
To address this topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance organised a webinar on May 09, 2023. The topic under discussion was, “ESG Reporting for More Effective Manufacturing”.
The webinar started off with a short overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by Dr. Igor V. Gladkov, who is the Director of the Food, Farming and Fisheries Alliance.
The keynote speaker for today’s webinar was Mr. Suhas Patel, Founder at TVARIT and Board Member of the Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance at EUTECH.
During the webinar, the keynote speaker discussed the importance of environment, social, and governance (ESG) reporting in the manufacturing industry. The speaker emphasized that ESG reporting is no longer just a trend; it has become a crucial aspect of sustainable business practices and is increasingly demanded by stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and regulators.
