Combined Intelligence for creating fair market & trade conditions for farmer: creating new agri-hubs with the provision of cold storage houses fueled with stable renewable energy supply for farmers in rural areas of Africa bears not only the chance to eliminate post-harvest losses but in addition to create higher local incomes by taking advantage of spreads between low sales prices during harvest season and higher price thereafter. Today, with a special focus on Kenya EUTEC invites five key experts from Agriculture, Renewable Energy/ICT and Finance sector to identify suitable ways on how farmers – through a combined approach – can realise integrate more steps into the local value chain and thereby through higher productivity and new jobs help rural communities to improve quality of life for their population. As today important decisions on future investments are taken it is important to understand how we as entrepreneurs can drive the building of new integrated markets and value chains and thereby influence economies & trade, education & training as well as R&D for the good of future societies. How can we embrace and capture the business opportunities for change and growth? What are the key necessary key steps, fundamental principles, and specialized domains? And what is expected from public and private leadership today to prepare for future challenges, navigating through technological complexity and enabling them to make sustainable and meaningful decisions?

New technologies and business models are evolving at a breathtaking speed – revolutionizing how we act as investors and entrepreneurs in Africa to achieve higher impact.
