13 January – EU Tech Chamber Climate Action Commission – Topic: How to Reduce CO2 Emissions in the Building Sector

During the last EU Summit, the decision has been made to significantly tighten the climate target for 2030. Greenhouse gas emissions are to drop by at least 55 percent below the 1990 level to reach the overall goal of a climate neutral EU by 2050. That also implies a nearly climate-neutral building stock by 2050. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the share of renewable energies in heat consumption must grow as well as the number of energy-efficient climate neutral buildings.

The Climate Action Commission of the EU Tech Chamber takes great pleasure to welcome you to our upcoming Digital Event on “How to Reduce CO2 Emissions in the Building Sector” on Wednesday January 13th, 2021 starting at 9:00 am CET. We will provide insight into the complex issue of reducing a building’s CO2 emissions and reach climate neutrality.
