With +90 registrants at our Digital Panel on “Innovations for Energy-Efficient Cooling (SDG 7 & 9) on May 6th the Africa Chapter of the EU Tech Chamber has been delighted to welcome a highly passionate audience!

Key take-aways were: to stay cool – if for refrigerators & freezers in the household sector or for space and process cooling for buildings and industrial processes – it needs energy. This energy has to be generated and utilized in the most efficient way! More adequate support from policy and regulators as well as from the finance sector will be needed to help customers, if businesses and household, to apply always the most modern cooling tech and business models.

Sincere thanks to our moderator Werner WARMUTH, PSE Projects GmbH (Germany) and as panelists Mzwandile THWALA, SACREEE (Namibia), Enoch AGYEPONG, Renewable Energy Association of Ghana (REAG), Danny FRIEDRICH, Mango Solar (Germany) and Alireza DERAKHSHAN, Grino Water Solutions (Germany).

Many thanks to Florian von Tucher, Chairman of the EU Tech Chamber for his very encouraging introduction as well as to Climate Action Commission Partnership of the EU Tech Chamber saying thank to each panelist with certificates – guaranteeing the planting of 10 trees in Senegal as part of our Mustard Seed IHD Initiative.
