We are in the middle of a global transformation: business innovation, technological innovation, social innovation. Digitalisation is changing established business models, enabling new forms of Entrepreneurship, and disrupting the way we live and work. New technologies are the major driver for more sustainability.

New technologies are – as they always were – frightening, will provoke important changes bearing huge risks and do have their own dynamics mankind can hardly control. On the one hand regulation becomes increasingly important and on the other hand it is a stumbling block for change, is protecting the status quo. Where is the right balance?

Do not miss our EU Tech Chamber Digital Panel on March 22nd at 9:00am CET for a joint discussion on the topic “New Technologies: Chances and risks for the citizen“.

We have invited Daniel López-Andújar García, visual media artist, activist and art theorist, Father Martin Maier SJ, Board Member of the Ethics Commission of the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH), and Paul Nemitz, Principal Advisor in the European Commissions General Directorate DG Just. Henning vom Stein, Chair Policy Commission will be moderating the event.’
