In order to share the positive results achieved with the aid & development cooperation project in Thiès (Senegal), supported by DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungs mbH and carried out with the Senegalese government, Catholic Church & Caritas and local government officials, the Africa Chapter of the EU Tech Chamber has invited a highly passionate international audience for our Digital Talk yesterday.

While +2,000 disadvantaged households and +30 medical centers have received food, hygiene items and medical equipment, a strong element of the project has been to also stimulate local education and business growth.

Sincere thanks to Stephan Roeken, German Ambassador to Senegal, André Gueye & Bishop von Thiès, Dr Mama Moussa DIAW, Head of the medical centersfor the region of Thiès, Epiphane Maissa Mbengue, Abbé & Diocesan-Caritas Director Thiès as well as to project Matthias Wieschemeyer, CEO Mull & Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and Marta Pedrajas who provided information about her work with the Mustard-SEED-IHD now established in the Vatican.

Finally, many thanks to our Board Member Stefan Stempian for his inspirational words as well as to EU Senate VP Benedikt Grütz who passed certificates – guaranteeing the planting of 10 trees in Senegal as part of the Mustard Seed IHD Initiative – as thank you to each panelist.
